Annual Club Championships '08
5.30pm, Thursday, 20th November and Saturday, 22nd November 2008
We are fast approaching this year’s Annual Club Championships. This year they are being held on Thursday 20th November (Individual medley) and Saturday 22nd (50m & 100m sprints) warm up at 5.30pm.
All swimmers in the competitive squads are expected to compete. The 100m IM’s on the Thursday are mandatory for all swimmers.
This year we have managed to secure the electronic timing which has been so popular in the past.
We are going to repeat the format of awards which we tried last year, namely swimmers will collect their medals from the awards table during the competition. Once all the races have been completed the cups will be presented by the Mayor of the RBKC.
Age groups for awards are Under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 17. A old medal will be award to swimmers in the Open Age category.
After the evenings races there will be a buffet in the main reception area.
Help Required!
To make the Championships a success we always need our small army of volunteers to assist in the smooth running of the evening. There is a notice on the noticeboard of the help which is required. Please sign up or e-mail the office. There are technical and non-technical jobs. Don’t worry full training will be given! You won’t miss out on seeing your child swim.

- Laptop assistant (results)
- Awards table supervisor
- Changing room security
- Help to set up the buffet
- Mayor "sitter"
