2007 Club Championships
a resounding success!

There was a record entry of 83 swimmers at last year's Club Championships with a lot of new personal bests.
It was a great shame that our supplier for the full electronic timing system couldn’t accommodate us this year. We shall try to resurrect it for next year.
It was great having our very own photographer getting snaps for the album – thanks Allan!
Particularly pleasing was the fantastic turnout from the younger age group swimmers. The championships are really for them. Getting early experience at galas is absolutely essential and what better a way to start!
The Mayor, Councillor Andrew Dalton made the presentations and said that he was very impressed by the evening’s entertainment.
Photos of the swimmers receiving awards will be available shortly from the Thursday and Sunday desks.
Our thanks to all those people who put in hard work both on the day and behind the scenes to make it such a great evening.

New club records
There were two fantastic new Club Records from Charlotte Hogarth (9) in the 50m freestyle with a time of 36.45 and Patrick Jack (13) in the 100 IM with a time of 1:12.11.
