Summer Junior League

CKSC is delighted to announce that they came 10th in Division 1 of the League this year. After a shaky start in the first round where we were edged out to 5th place due to some tough opposition, too many absentees and too many disqualifications, we bounced back to a second place in Round 2.
Many of our DQ’s were not because the swimmer didn’t know the rules but just failed to put them into practice on the day under pressure. This serves as a reminder of the importance of continuous practice of starts and turns in training which is the key. If these technical details become a habit then accidents will not happen on the day of a competition.
Our congratulations to all those swimmers who did turn out for their good and encouraging performances.
League dates for 2009 are 6th June, 4th July and 12th Sept
