National Swimming League

After an absence of a year we are once again involved in what used to be known as Speedo League. Speedo no longer sponsor the League so it is now called The National Swimming League.
For the first time in living memory our first round was held at a London venue, the prestigious Clissold Park pool. This is the newest pool in to open in London (although it’s been closed due to lack of finances for 2 years!)
We were up against some strong teams but came a creditable 4th missing out on 3rd by 4 points. This puts us 10th in the League (out of 24 teams).
If we all turn out in the next round then we have a good shot at making the finals in December. The next round is to be held at Hitchin on November 8th. We will travel by coach as a team.
