On the weekend of 4/5th September Jessica Harper represented England South in the UK School Games at the Cardiff International 50m Long Course Pool. She produced 2 stunning swims off very little training to take SILVER in the 100m Freestyle in a time of 1:17.48 and BRONZE in the 100m Fly in a time of 1:33.11.
Last weekend Jessica swam 4 events in the London Disbility Championships in East Ham and came away with 3 GOLDS and a SILVER - a great start to the season. 50m Fly (38.63); 100m Fly (1:29.82); 100m Freestyle (1:16.19); 50m Free (35.46).
These results topped a magnificent season for Jessica who won at Regional and National levels and was invited onto the ASA Regional Disability Talent Programme. These achievements received their just reward this weekend with Jessica stepping up to receive the London ASA/Aquaforce Award for Disability Swimmer of the Year 2008/2009.
